HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Posted on Patron AnejoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called at 9:42 AM and a human being actually answered the telephone. Not a robot!! My monthly subscription evidently afforded me a same day appointment. I was promised a tech would arrive at my home no later than 2:30 PM. I then received a text confirming the appointment. Alex called me at 10:47 AM to let me know he was 15 minutes out. 15 minutes later he arrived, inspected both front and back yards, did what was needed, explained what he did and left. We shall see if we catch any critters Alex will return in a 5 to 7 days. This experience from start to finish could not have been better! Alex could not have been nicer!!
When performed correctly, a professional gopher trapping service is one of the most precise and dependable methods for controlling destructive pocket gophers. At Go-Pher The Kill Pest Control, we utilize expert trapping techniques to remove active gophers by carefully placing traps deep inside their underground tunnel systems. Rather than just treating the symptoms of a gopher problem, our goal is to target the animal responsible for the damage and stop the infestation at its source.
We also offer an emergency gopher trapping service to halt the destruction of your property as quickly as possible.
Successful trapping begins long before a trap is ever placed in the ground. Our technicians thoroughly inspect your property to determine exactly where gophers are actively feeding and traveling underground. By locating the primary tunnel system instead of relying solely on visible dirt mounds, we provide a strategic gopher trap installation service that places traps where they are most likely to produce rapid results.
Every property is different, and understanding how a gopher utilizes your landscape is the key to an effective trapping program.
Professional trapping can be an excellent option for many situations, including:
Properties with isolated or moderate gopher activity.
Homeowners who prefer a non-bait, physical removal treatment option.
Landscapes with valuable ornamental plants, gardens, or young trees.
Areas where a highly targeted treatment is desired.
Follow-up control after new gopher activity is discovered.
Following our inspection, we’ll recommend whether trapping is the best solution or if another treatment method would provide better long-term results for your specific yard.
Every service starts with a comprehensive inspection of your property. We identify fresh activity, locate active tunnels, and strategically position professional traps within the burrow system. After placement, the traps are closely monitored and serviced as needed to ensure the treatment remains highly effective.
Because gophers spend nearly all of their lives underground, proper trap placement is far more important than simply setting traps near a mound. Our extensive experience and knowledge of gopher behavior play a major role in achieving consistent, permanent results.
Experience and knowledge of gopher behavior play a major role in achieving consistent results.
Not every infestation should be handled exactly the same way. While trapping is extremely effective in many situations, it may also be combined with underground burrow baiting, carbon monoxide burrow treatments, or aluminum phosphide fumigation where appropriate and permitted.
Our recommendations are always based on your property’s unique conditions, the severity of the gopher activity, and the treatment method most likely to provide lasting control.

Yes. When traps are placed in active tunnel systems by an experienced technician, trapping is one of the most reliable methods of eliminating individual gophers.
We begin by locating fresh gopher activity and identifying the main travel tunnels beneath the surface. Proper trap placement is one of the most important factors in a successful trapping program.
Our goal is to eliminate the active gophers responsible for the damage on your property. If neighboring properties have gopher activity, new gophers may eventually move into vacant tunnels, which is why some customers choose ongoing maintenance..
Neither method is automatically better than the other. The best treatment depends on the property, the amount of activity, and your goals. During our inspection, we’ll recommend the approach that offers the greatest chance of success. For customers that prefer a poison free method of Gopher Removal, trapping is a great option.
Absolutely. Trapping is often combined with underground burrow baiting or professional gas treatments when appropriate to provide comprehensive gopher control.
Depending on the size of the infestation, our strategic gopher trap installation service often yields results within the first few days. We continuously monitor and service the traps until the active threats are eliminated.
Yes. We provide professional gopher trapping for residential properties, HOA communities, schools, parks, business parks, commercial landscapes, agricultural properties, and large estates throughout Southern California. In some cases commercial customers prefer trapping as it does not rely on poisons.
Once the active infestation has been controlled, we can recommend a maintenance program to help detect and eliminate new gopher activity before significant damage occurs.
Our technicians make small, targeted openings to access active tunnels and restore the area after the traps have been placed. We work carefully to minimize disturbance while providing effective control.
Gophers remain active throughout the year in Southern California, so trapping can be effective during any season. The best time to begin treatment is as soon as you notice fresh activity, before additional tunnels and damage develop. Gopher activity is generally more active in Spring and Fall.
Yes. Our goal is to eliminate active gophers using proven professional methods. Every property is different, and factors such as neighboring gopher populations and continued migration can influence long-term results. We’ll always recommend the treatment program that gives your property the best opportunity for lasting control.
Yes! Because we place our traps deep underground within the active tunnel systems, they are generally out of reach of surface-dwelling pets and children. Trapping is an excellent, targeted alternative for homeowners who prefer not to use baits.
