HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Posted on Patron AnejoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called at 9:42 AM and a human being actually answered the telephone. Not a robot!! My monthly subscription evidently afforded me a same day appointment. I was promised a tech would arrive at my home no later than 2:30 PM. I then received a text confirming the appointment. Alex called me at 10:47 AM to let me know he was 15 minutes out. 15 minutes later he arrived, inspected both front and back yards, did what was needed, explained what he did and left. We shall see if we catch any critters Alex will return in a 5 to 7 days. This experience from start to finish could not have been better! Alex could not have been nicer!!
Dealing with destructive pocket gophers tearing up your yard? Effective gopher control requires precision and expertise. At Go-Pher The Kill Pest Control, we offer dependable gopher control baiting services designed to eliminate subterranean pests at the source. Utilizing professional gopher baiting, our trained technicians target active burrow systems directly rather than relying on surface treatments, protecting your landscaping, trees, and irrigation lines from ongoing damage.
The success of any baiting program begins with finding active tunnels. Our technicians inspect the property for fresh gopher activity, identify the main burrow system, and place bait directly into the underground tunnels using specialized application equipment. By treating active burrows instead of visible mounds alone, we focus on the areas where gophers are most likely to encounter the bait.
Professional underground baiting offers several advantages over surface applications and do-it-yourself methods:
While underground burrow baiting is highly effective, it isn’t always the only solution. Depending on the conditions at your property, we may recommend combining baiting with professional trapping, carbon monoxide burrow treatments, or aluminum phosphide fumigation where appropriate and permitted. Selecting the right treatment—or combination of treatments—helps achieve the best long-term results.

Professional gopher baiting targets active pocket gophers by placing bait directly inside their underground tunnel systems. Because the bait is placed where gophers naturally travel and feed, it is a highly effective method for controlling active infestations.
This is a tricky one because there are not many things you can do to keep them from burrowing back into your yard. Gophers are likely to appear in the same spot as before, even after removing them. This is because you now have existing tunnels leading from your neighboring yard right to these spots. When we do your gopher control service, we’ll hand you a few referral cards to offer your neighbors. That way, we can make sure their gophers don’t eventually tunnel over to your property.
We also offer maintenance services for gophers in which we come out monthly to inspect the yard for any new activity. If we see any new gopher activity, we will take care of it. This service is more of a reactive service but is proven to keep the gophers under control and down to a bare minimum.
Underground burrow baiting places bait inside active tunnels rather than on the ground surface. This targeted approach keeps the treatment where gophers are most likely to encounter it while reducing unnecessary surface exposure.
Our technicians inspect the property for fresh gopher activity and locate active tunnel systems before any treatment begins. Correctly identifying active burrows is one of the most important factors in a successful gopher control program.
When performed by experienced professionals and placed in active tunnel systems, gopher baiting is one of the most effective methods available for controlling pocket gophers.
Results typically appear within a few days to a week as pocket gophers encounter the targeted bait within their active underground tunnels.
Some properties are successfully treated with a single service, while others may require follow-up treatments or ongoing maintenance. Properties surrounded by open land, greenbelts, or neighboring gopher populations often experience new activity over time.
No. Our underground burrow treatments are designed to place bait inside active tunnel systems rather than broadcasting it across the surface.
Absolutely. For severe or persistent infestations, combining baiting with professional trapping or fumigation yields the highest success rate.
Professional gopher control is about more than applying bait. Success depends on correctly identifying active burrow systems, choosing the appropriate treatment method, and understanding gopher behavior. Our technicians have the experience and equipment to provide efficient, effective control while developing a long-term plan to protect your property.
Yes. We offer recurring maintenance programs for properties that experience continued gopher pressure. Regular inspections and treatments help eliminate new activity before it becomes a larger problem.
Yes. Because the bait is placed directly inside the underground tunnel system rather than scattered on the surface, it poses minimal risk to your turf, landscaping, and non-target wildlife.
